Towels

It is nice and soft, it helps cover you when you come out of the bathroom. It also helps by drying you up when you take your nice hot and relaxing bath. Not only that it is so soft to wrap round a baby and the baby wont feel any itchiness caused by the towel.
A towel is a wonderful thing when you think about it and how we use to take an advantage of it. We just dont know how much abuse it takes during its life time. We squeeze dry it, we hit it, we throw inside the washing machine and let it be thrown around with other clothes, we rip or cut it, etc... but I tell you one thing... IT IS WORTH IT!

you know how much stress I get when I get a new towel and it is not absorbent? Yeah, you need to use it a few times before it becomes fully absorbent. I know the hot water trick or wash it 3 times consecutively. But that doesnt bring out it's full absorbing potential! Especially those towels that are marketed as "Super Absorbent Towels!". My arse lah super absorbent! A paper towel is far more absorbent than those silly towels! And what if you buy those microfiber towels that is mostly made out of polyester? IT CANT ABSORB ANY SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER...

Frustrating as it sound it happened to me today. I had this towel for almost a year now. I thought I could have a good relationship with it since it is so nice and so big. But noo... so many months down the road and it is still treating me badly! Yes, you throw it into a bucket of water it absorbs nicely. But when you run water over it, it just repels the bloody water!

I bought it for my car cleaning rituals. Today was the most frustrating day ever because I cant even wipe the surface dry with that cloth! All my other cloth is dirty and soiled and I need a cloth that is dry and clean. Lo and behold the cursed microfiber towel that I have. I took it and I tried to wipe and my goodness it took me a bloody 5 minutes just to wipe dry my roof.

ARGHHH... need to buy new towel. Make sure I must read the labels and buy only 100% COTTON!

Glenfiddich

I currently am trying this...

I bought it with a reluctant heart because I did not know how good is it. I didont do my research on it and I just stared at which whisky I wanted to buy in the airport. Im glad I choose this whisky tho because it has a good taste.

sorry lah.. I've dranked half of the bottle and spent a few of my friends already.

for me, the whisky smells of malt and something sweet plus the smell of oak. The taste of it is not so harsh like cheap single malt whisky. Tasting it for some is pure torture because of the alcohol burn that the whisky has, but for me, there is a very distinct flavour to it. The after-taste is very fragrant and it lingers in your mouth for a long time.

among the 12yrs category of whiskys, this is by far the best that I've tried. Although there is a bottle of Balvenie still waitting for me. I would love to know what double cask will do to the flavours of the whisky.

oh well... cant wait!

Development of a country

So what makes a country fantastic to live in and wonderful to be told to everyone? It's infrastructure? It's modernisation? It's culture?

No...

Its the mindset of people!
People tend to complain on how great the country are because of the government help them with this and that. How wonderful it is as compared to Malaysia, how great the economy sector and so on. But when the government wants to introduce something that follows the other country, it is shot down with criticism.

For an example where the government plan to have checks on cars which is older than 15yrs. People tend to praise about Singapore on their automotive sector because they are so said better than us with new cars and so on. Singapore have yearly checks on their cars and every 5yrs they have to change their car or esle the road tax for the car will increase. Would Malaysians want that? I dont think so, people would surely complain. Incentives given ofcourse to change cars in 5yrs, but just imagine. Everyone has the incentives, wouldnt it be the same since everyone has the same incentives?

Then there is UK with their MOT. Every year they have to go for one. New or old surely they have to. What is there to complain about Malaysia's checks on cars which is 15yrs and older?

I understand for those who complains about how inefficient puspakom can be. But the people just doesnt make any sense if they say they couldnt keep old cars anymore. you still can keep, you just need to go for yearly checks.

Im supportive of this new ruling which was taken down IF puspakom is efficient and it does not involve in any money laundering.

But the problem is that if there is nothing been done, people will start to compare with other country and when we try to follow other countries we get criticisms.

Its all due to the mindset of people, comming back to mindset again. If mindset can be changed, wouldnt this country would be a wonderful one and be as productive and efficient as Singapore? I guess so... but, I still love living in Sabah. Its my home... LOL!

Life is just like that

#1
When you are rich, you tend to admire the poor on how they can survive. You tend to mourn and be depressed because you have too much money; hence the term "Money can't buy happiness". But when you are poor, you tend to admire the rich. You dream on what if you have loads of money. You tend to think that you will be extremely happy because you have the money to spend and never have to worry about money.

#2
When you are in a relationship, you will think that you cant live without your partner and you must be in a relationship. But when you break up.. for that brief moment you will think that single life is one hell of a good thing.

#3
When you learn about something that baffles your mind from another person who isnt your friend, you tend to ignore the fact and says that he/she is crazy. But when it is your friend who tells you the fact, you will take it in as if it is something new for you to learn.

#4
When only your opinion is needed for a certain item, you despise it and hate it so much until you could not bear to see it. But when a whole bunch of people praises it and adores it, you will do the same. Crowd psychology...

#5
When you drive an exotic sports car, you tend to laugh at people who have an old car. But the person who drives the old car will laugh at you because he will think that you are extremely dumb and spastic to spend so much money on a car that could do what his old car do for him.

#6
When you smile and be friendly to people in public places, you think it nice and friends who knows your intentions will think that you are great. But to strangers, you are no more than a down syndrome kid who needs to go into a mental hospital.

#7
When you get something expensive, the people who knows the value of the item will praise and envy you. But to those who doesnt know the value of the item will say that you are an extreme idiot to have spend so much on a worthless piece of crap.

#8
Playboys will think people who are loyal are dumb and dont know how to enjoy the pleasures of life. Those who are loyal will have no respect on playboys because they have no ability to mould a single being to become his ultimate pleasure.

#9
When you are inlove, you do funny things and dont mind. When you are no inlove, you tend to think those actions are stupid and very childish and you will avoid it at all cost.

#10
When you support a race(not racing lah..), you will talk good and defend their every move (white supriority is one example). The race that you praise will take an advantage of you and make full use of your kindness and leave nothing behind and run away calling you a sucker.

The return of Aaron Ti

Bowling.

It was my childhood sport that I really adore. I adore it more than anything esle because I know I can be damn good in it. It was the only sport that made me angry, cry, nervous, happy, excited, etc...

Now that I've stopped and it has been 6yrs since I last really got into bowling. Im thinking should I start bowling all over again and spend thousand and thousands of ringgit just to play it? The money involves is very high. Lemme give you a good look on things..

The ball = RM400-500
one game = RM5

One game is never enough. A normal bowling session consist of 6-8games. which means I'll be paying RM40. *gulp*.

I cant believe how prices of the game shot up. Last time when I was active I was paying RM2.50 or RM3 per game. Now its so expensive.

If I start again, I have to buy a new ball. My Columbia300 ball is expired dy. Have to spend a few hundred bucks just to get a new ball. Not to mention a spare ball also.

decisions decision decisions....

If I want to buy a ball, I would love to have this as a starting point.

Brunswick Avalanche Slide.

or

Ebonite Clash.

hmmm... Shud I or shud I not... decisions decisions..

Seatbelts

Seat belts has been invented ever since they understood what safety meant. It slowly then became standard for all cars starting with Saab cars making them as standard.

Its a good practice to wear a seat belt whenever you are driving, cause you never know when will you be in an accident. I always wear my seat belt whenever Im driving eventhough Im just driving across the street.

But to some, wearing seat belt is not "cool". I dont know since when the seat belt became an object of measure how "cool" will you be. Yes, I would even wear a seat belt even if I have the world's most exotic car. I'll outfit it with a safety harness. Now thats cooler.

There are people too who will so-called force their friends to not wear seat belts. I dont mind if you come into my car and dont wear seat belts as long as you pay my summons if you are caught without wearing a seat belt. But please lah... dont force me to not wear lah. I love my life and Im willing to be "uncool" and wear my seat belt. Do you understand how stupid is you actions whenever you undo my belt and tell me "dont need to wear seat belt lah.."...

Some could think that wearing seat belt doesnt make you "pro" enuf to be a racer. I've heard something similiar before. Now think... FIA sanction races requires all racers to wear seat belt/harness whenever they are into a race. I guess they are not "pro" enuf huh. Damn... I didont know Formula 1 drivers are damn n00b since they strap themselves in so damn tightly.

Oh well, things like this does happen. For me, its a habit dy. Whenever I get into a car, I wear the seat belt.

Now... who wanna buy me a Takata 4-point harness?

It fits nicely with the Bride Low Max Maxis 3 that I posted earlier. HAHAHA!

Broken hearts and broken dreams.

People of different kind may stand up to different kind of stress. Some may take stress as something as a part of life and some may take it as something that is the end of the world. Yet, stress cant be taken lightly.

Same goes to a broken heart.
A heart is fragile, we sometimes know that we must becareful of what is happening. Yet sometimes we entrusted the other party to hold your heart in their hands giving them the full freedom to keep it like as if it is the most precious thing in the world or just to crush it when a simply gesture of the hand.

When it is shattered into a million pieces, to some it is an easy thing to do. Picking up all the pieces and hoping/finding their luck so that it can be paste back and filling the mising pieces with the help from their newly found love. Some just sit down and cry because they are smack right in the face and dont know what to do and where to collect and they cant compromise the pieces that is missing and just cant fit into it.

Honestly, sometimes running to people and crying about it may seem a bad idea because they cant understand. They just dont understand what you are going through and what has happened. They only could see the whole picture at one go and not part by part. Thus making them complain about your actions rather than listening to you what happened.

Heartbreakers tend to not see how much love and effort one has put into. Some may think its a passing of life and this things always happens. Yes it does, but not many could take it. Not many could take the stress of having a heart being broken.

Who does it more? Boys are being publicised more on being playful and heartbreakers. But are they? Girls are equally the same yet their image is not tarnished. We always portray that girls are innocent and boys are the bad ones. Yet, I feel both are the same. Girls is not that innocent as people think and boys are not bad as people think. Girls can be players and break people's heart same as us guys. So why the stereotypes?!

Things like this happens yet they blame it all on boys doing it the most and girls has a minimal share on it. Pfft... sometimes being a girl is good.

The adventures continues

Just received a call from Maxis. Regarding about the broadband that I registered earlier. It was the most unsatisfying thing you could hear from them.

Weirdly, I owe them RM170. According to them I have to pay some upgrade charges or whatever is that.

I have been using Maxis 3g broadband for like 1 day only and the next day I asked for a refund. Its been 2 bloody months and I have not received the RM100 deposit that I put. Then now they ask me to pay this RM170? I really don't understand what fees is this for.

I kept asking the person who called me to ask for the payment. He cant answer and in the end he put the record in the computer as settled. I hope that is the end of it.

Kononya no contract, completely free when u refund within the 7 days. But what the hell is this lah? If they are gonna call again, Im gonna put on my nasty clothes and diu kao them. This is extortion!

Then yesterday I was on the highway, I was on the slow lane doing 80-90km/h. Bloody bus from behind kept flashing me. I didont bothered cause I was on the slow lane. The bus then overtook me and dont know for what reason he slowed down. Then I overtook him and started going 100km/h. I guess I made him pissed by overtaking him? He sped up and overtook me but this time pushing me right to the emergency lane. Dont really know what was that for.

I sped up this time and suprisingly the bus followed. But it was not for long as I sped up well above the limit(shhh...).

Sometimes I just hate bus drivers. Arrogant and ignorant.

Money... Where art thou come from?

I dont understand. I've been saving my ass off for something yet sometimes its still so hard to get it. Sometimes I cant even get it because of various of reasons! Sometimes the money I need to spend it to make myself function or esle I just cant do anything!

Yet if I manage to save, I would consider myself to have something not the best of them all and not the worse of them all. I would consider to buy somewhere in the middle, making the cost being intermediate.

Sometimes, just sometimes I dont feel buying because its sooo hard to save and finally I have some sort of cushion to fall against if Im broke. For an example, I manage to save my ass off RM2k, and the stuff that I want to get RM1.5k. Sometimes I just feel that I wouldnt want to buy it and save my RM2k just incase somethign happens. So if suddenly one day*touches wood* so happens I've blown my monthly allowance limit, I could use the RM2k to spend.

But... I just dont get some people could buy something that is extremely expensive. If you are rich then ok, but if you are ones who act no better than beggars asking for people money each time, then I dont understand you. How could u have gotten the money to spend so much yet stay as stingy as this?

What is the value of life if you are extremely stingy? To me, there is no value. You are better off being burned alive. You are so selfish and self-centered. This is not smart, this is pathetic!

Spend smart. Dont be stingy. You loose friends if you are stingy. You gain true friends if you spend wisely. You gain stingy/fake friends if you spend freely.

Caffeine!!!

Caffeine, it is something good. It keeps you awake when you feel sleepy after doing your assignment, last-minute work, etc... It also wakes you up when you take your first cup of coffee.

Maybe to some.

To some, caffeine is one terrible thing. They are sooooo sensitive towards it even a cup of coffee would send them down into distress. Why? They cant sleep! Insomnia sets in!

But to me, Its such a sad thing that it doesnt keep me awake.

The other day I was in McD to meet up with my course mates to discuss the assignment that we had to do. It was in the morning so I ordered the breakfast set with coffee. We sat down and discussed. I've finished one cup and decided to get some more coffee since its free to refill.

I then head straight to the counter to get one, when I sat down drinking my coffee again. I felt really really really sleepy. Gosh... I couldnt stop yawning. When we finished our discussion and I drank finish my 2nd cup of coffee, I was really really sleepy.

When I manage to get home. Lo and behold I headed straight to my bed and had a wonderful sleep.

Coffee keeps ppl awake.. pfft.. ya right..

Its a hot hot day!

Its been really hot this past few days. Rain is indeed a shortage! I've been hoping for rain for a long time dy and yet its not happening! Arghh!! Temperature is averaging 31celcius for the whole day! Its soo hot!

Oh well, its in the middle of the year and its the drought season. Rain is scarce and there is abundance of heat! Cant wait for the next raining season to come. Then there will be curse and swears on why shud it rain now and not tml.

Anyways... last time, I've been looking around for bucket seats; looking at the different brands and models available in the market. I found this tho...

How cool is that?! Looks really funky and I wish I could buy it. The seat is not seating upright like what you get in a conventional bucket seat but its sort of like sleeping F1 style kind of seating position.

Just imagine... Just imagine it in my iswara. HAHAHA! I cant even drive it in the city cause I cant even look behind! my vision is really limited if I have this seat. But yet, it'll be a joy to have the seat!

Prices directly from Japan at the current conversion rate would be for the normal Fiber Reinforced Plastic, it will cost around RM5k whereas for the carbon fiber version, it will cost RM8k. Prices are without shipping.

sooo... my bday is over which means there is time for YOU to save your money if u want to get a bday present for me.. HAHA!

Explosives

I always have a fond interest in explosive. I've always thought of doing pyrotechnics when I was small. The adrenalin rush you get when you see an explosion is beyond words that you can explain.

Just check out these shots I got from watching Mythbusters!

you can see how fantastic it is.. Its like an art seeing it happening.

This is how 5000 pounds of explosive will look like.

Its just fantastic to see such things. Dont you think so? it gets more beautiful when you see the shockwave. You can literally see it when it is played in slow motion.

As quoted from the discovery channel, the world is awesome! Somethings you just cant see it happening and when you could see it happening, its like way out of what you couldve imagine!

for an example.. take a look at this metal plate smacking a car at 600+mph.

the car practically did not move at all and it just crumpled on the spot when the metal plate hits it. Its just amazing.

Arghhh... what am I doing studying commerce when Im clearly interested in this? pfft...

Just like that..

Since the day I heard of the idea, I was totally negative about it. Why should I do it? For what reason? I dont really care whether it is done or not.

But...

I was forced. Forced so much till I have no say in anything. I wanted to keep it simple if Im forced, but it was made sophisticated. I did not have any chance to discuss, I did not have any chance to think what would be good. Instead, I was presented a schedule.

The experience? I was tricked, lied, let down, disappointed. I dont really understand why should I do such a deed to my surroundings. Its not as if it is the end of the world. Im still gonna fight for my life.

Why?

I just dont know about it. Promises are made but are not fulfilled. I respect those who are true. But, this so happen to make me see things in a new way. How could I be so dumb...? Yet, is it so hard? So hard to inform? So hard to fulfill a promise?

Gratitude has not come. But guess I have to leave it. Im starting another life, another set of experiences! Just that things like this just makes me so damn annoyed.

Fuck it.

Conversations Part. II

I forgot to answer my own question.

What drives us to talk? There are many reasons, but the most common reason would be the need to communicate. But sometimes, we just cant communicate with another person. For an example, you are in a new environment with new people. You want to communicate with them but you just cant.

The obvious reason is shyness. You wouldn't know how the person would react. What if I said this? Would he/she mind? Or sometimes you just go blank. You just cant think what to say even though you want to start a conversation.

Conversation is sometimes an art, you need feedback from the person. The continuation of the conversation must depend on the person's reply. But meeting someone new and talking to them is indeed tiring and requires energy. You are constantly finding new topics to talk to so that interest would be found and topics will be flaring out.

BUT!

In the wonders of the virtual world, ITS DIFFERENT! People are far less shy, people are extremely friendly! People wouldn't give a damn about the topics and just simply blurt out. Mostly its down to eye contact. In the virtual world, we see words. Words may mean something but conversing eye to eye brings out the person. Its weird that when you are in the virtual world, everyone is your friend. But when you meet face-to-face even though you've talked to the person online in ages, you still feel shy and like as if it is the first time meeting.

I guess its down to the confidence people have in themselves. There are so many uncertainties when you meet someone new. You are afraid that your image will be tarnished. You are so worried about talking well. But, to be well and friendly, you must not be bothered about he uncertainties.

Guess maybe we all should converse digitally even though we meet in real life..

Cool huh? Everyone would be so damn friendly.

*thx to the actors in the picture... I appreciated it! :)*

Conversations

What drives us to talk whenever we meet someone? Could we really talk anything under the sun whenever we meet someone?

I've always been asking myself this questions. The really easy people to talk to is your friends. But what do you actually talk? Its instantaneous you will come out with a topic. But is it really that diverse?

Think about it. Take for an example, a friend of mine. Whenever I meet friend A, our main topic would be about girls and facts of life. Small talks do happen which is mostly consist of the past where we spent our times together with other friends. Then moving on to friend B, our main topic is about cars and some information about how do cars perform. Other smaller topic would be our past. Then I have friend C, our main topic is about what is going on around KK; who is running this company, what is he/she doing, etc... then the small topics are mostly our past and our lifes.

Its really funny when you really sit down and think. Such simple topics, but we drag it on forever and ever. In the end, we still dont mind and start talking about it.

Exciting....
